is a special day for you. For this you had been working so hard planning
your travel itinerary, booking your flight tickets and getting yourself
prepared for the holiday. Your journey to the Gods Own Country or better
defined as to the land where God had put its foot all over to make it
beautiful not only from nature but from its people to the architecture.
Indian Horizons representative would escort you to the airport for your
flight to Trivandrum. On arrival you would find Indian Horizons representative
Mathew waiting for you at the arrival hall and eager to trace you from
the crowds. As soon as you meet him he starts to welcome you followed

you as your guest. Your drive through the city of Trivandrum which is

Overnight at Kovalam Day 02: In Kovalam Day starts with coffee or tea which ever would be your preference watching the Sunrise at the Kovalam beach and enjoy the beautiful waters of Kovalam that starts to glaze and shine as the diamond. After breakfast Oindian Horizons representative would meet you to handover you all the related documents and brief you of the tour. Overnight at Kovalam Day 03: In Kovalam Your day starts with your own wake up call when your eyes open. After breakfast enjoy a full day excursion to Kanyakumari the southern most point of India. Kanyakumari is famous for its spectacular sunset and moonrise views, and the fascinating temples and monuments. Arrive at Kanyakumari and visit the famous Kumari Amman Temple, Vivekanada and Gandhi Memorial, and the beautiful statue of Tiruvalluvar. In the evening enjoy a breathtaking view of sunset over the Indian Ocean at Kanyakumari. Overnight at Kovalam Day 04: Kovalam-Alleppey-Kumarakom Today you would be entering to the Backwaters of Alleppey, which represents the culture, beauty and the life of Kerala. The moment you check-into the Luxury Houseboat of Indian Horizons you would be surprised to find that Mathew is waiting for you to handover a specially prepared cake with greetings from the Director of Indian Horizons. As you cruise along the backwaters which takes you through remote tribal villages along the tranquil backwaters which is a superb experience. Overnight on Houseboat Day 05: In Kumarakom  With
the sunrise your backwater journey concludes and you disembark the houseboat
and check into the backwater resort where luxury is defined as hospitality.
After lunch cruise along the backwaters to watch the birds of the Kumarakom
sanctuary. Overnight at Kumarakom Day 06: In Kumarakom Day free to relax at the backwater resort. Overnight at Kumarakom Day 07: Kumarakom-Periyar Morning after breakfast drive to Periyar. On arrival check-into the hotel. After lunch visit the tribal villages around Periyar, which are worth a visit. The tribal people are expert fishermen and farmers. Some are still engaged in the traditional practice of collecting honey of dangerous hill bees. They have built interesting tree dwellings. These dwellings do not signify a perched existence. Quite the contrary, they are comfortable watchtowers for taking note of any wild pig or elephant in the area that might ruin the cultivated fields. Overnight at Periyar Day 08: In Periyar Morning after breakfast enjoy a spice plantation tour. After lunch relax at the hotel. Watching wildlife from close quarters at night in the midst of jungle is an experience, which you would remember for times to come. Overnight at Calicut Day 11: Calicut-Vythiri  Morning
